Cryo-Compression Therapy

Cryo/Cuff Knee with Cooler

In this active day and age we are prone to many more injuries than in years gone by. Sports injuries alone account for a large percentage of orthopedic injuries and surgeries. Concurrently there are many new types of surgeries available for specific types of injury and trauma. Our state-of-the-art Cryo/Cuff TM Compression Therapy helps aid in speedy and effective healing from many such injuries/surgeries. Cold therapy has been proven to reduce edema and pain more effectively in most instances than any other type of treatment/ rehabilitation. Our Cryo-Compression Therapy is the only Cold Therapy to have both cold and compression in one unit!
Our Cryo/Cuff TM "Systems" are available with gravity-driven "coolers" or motor-driven "coolers".  You can purchase just the cooler, or a cooler/cuff combo or just the cuffs. All cuffs fit both coolers.

The Aircast Cryo-Cuff TM combines focal compression with cold to provide optimal control of swelling, edema, hematoma, hemarthrosis and pain. The length of use and frequency of use of the Cryo/Cuff TM  should be determined by your healthcare professional. *

Cryo/Cuff IC

The Cryo/Cuff IC is the same as above, but also combines focused compression with cold therapy to provide optimal control of swelling, to minimize hemarthrosis, edema and pain. Simplicity of design and ease of operation makes it ideal for post-operative recovery, trauma, athletic training rooms and home use. The integrated pneumatic pump in the lid  forces the water through the tubing and creates a mild on/off compression cycle at the same time. The Cryo/Cuff IC replaces the Aircast "Autochill" system which sports a separate attached pump.

Product Features and Benefits:

bulletFocused compression – The Aircast Cryo/Cuffs are anatomically designed to provide specific compression to prevent swelling and reduce pain
bulletClinical Studies – Proves that cold and compression is effective in reducing post-operative swelling and regaining ROM
bullet30 second on/off cycle – Provides automatic intermittent compression in addition to cold therapy . (The basic gravity-driven Cryo/Cuff does not have
the automatic compression feature and also relies on gravity for circulation of water through the Cryo/Cuff).
bulletEasy to use – Plug it in to start the treatment

**Comes with tubing, cooler insulation disc and instructions**
